Fun with Fringe

I’m beginning to think I should have named this blog “Leopard Kate” or “Leopard AF” (is ‘AF’ still cool? am I allowed to say it if I’m a mom?). I’m so drawn to the print and nothing is off limits; belts, shoes, tops, sports bras… the list goes on. Whenever I feel like my outfit needs a little something extra, animal print seems to just tie it all together….which is basically every day.

You know what else I love? Fringe. This skirt just screams fun in my opinion, and I feel like you can style it so many different ways depending on what look you’re trying to achieve. Want a more casual look? Throw on a grey sweatshirt with slouchy sleeves and white tennie’s. Want an “extra” look? Throw on a leopard crop top with a leather jacket and heels. I once wore this skirt with a chambray button up shirt to a “western” themed engagement party. Does fringe scream western? I don’t really know, but I went with it nonetheless.

Anyway, back to my original point — fringe. I’ve found some current, adorable (and as always, affordable!) fringe pieces below to add to your wardrobe for a little bit of fun.

Also, I’m dying to know how everyone feels about the belt bag trend….will you try it, or is it too ‘fanny pack’ for your liking? I must admit, when this trend first came back on the radar I swore I’d never succumb, but the fringe Michael Kors bag is just too too cute….I might have to try it out 😉
