Holiday Gift Guide 2018: For Parents

Each year when holiday season sneaks up on me out of nowhere, I find myself in a major panic trying to find THE perfect gift for my parents. First of all, they don’t really “need” anything. Secondly, they have done so much for me and always seem to find the perfect gifts for me year after year and I yearn to be able to do the same in return. But in true Rosey Kate fashion, I always end up buying clothes & accessories because that is what I know and love, and you can never really have too much of either, right?!

This year, I’m making a conscious effort to think outside the box and gift my parents something different. These are my top picks! Hope these help you in your shopping efforts! Let me know if you have any other creative ideas too!

We love our Nest and love the fact that we can control it from our app, so if we are already in bed but feeling too warm or too chilly, we can adjust accordingly. Truth be told, I didn’t fully commit to learning how to use it in the beginning. For a long time, whenever I was needing the temperature changed and Eric was traveling, I would text him and ask him to adjust it for me. Whoops. But, pretty convenient right?

Every member in my family got one last year and I must say, it is all its cracked up to be. I had never personally used a pressure cooker, but once I started using it, I never looked back. Electric Air Fryer – Using just a tablespoon of oil (or less!), fry, grill, bake or roast anything from chicken to burgers to fries! I’ve never used one but at this attractive price point, might just scoop one up for the ‘rents AND myself.

I’m super excited to gift this to my parents – feels like a fun science experiment, LOL.
