Dare I say it, but it finally feels like Spring is here and hopefully here to stay!
Without a doubt, my favorite thing to wear all Spring & Summer is a dress. It is the easiest thing to throw on and get out the door, with no fuss. Midi dress, maxi dress, mini dress – doesn’t matter, love them all. And while I hate to admit this publicly, Stella’s closet holds none of her own clothes because it is the home to my dress collection. In all fairness, they were there before she was born, and I just never took the time to move them (orrrr I have nowhere else to put them).
Now that sunnier [warmer] days are upon us, I have been scouring the Internet looking for fresh dresses to add to my collection. I recently found this $22 tie-front midi dress on Amazon; I was worried how it would fit me since I’m on the shorter side (and midi dresses really have to hit me at the right spot or I look absolutely ridiculous).
While this midi dress is not eligible for Prime, it did arrive 6 days after I placed my order. I ordered a size Small and love the way it fits. The tie detail in front is so cute, and since I had a tie headband on, I tucked in the ties so it wouldn’t appear so catchy. When I first opened the package, I wasn’t so sure I would love the material (it is a polyestor/cotton blend but definitely leans more towards the poly side), but I ended up not minding it at all, even after wearing it for an extended amount of time. I love the fact that this dress comes in 22 different colors/prints! Since I really like the way it fits and its so affordable, I will probably end up ordering at least one or two others to add to my collection 🙂
