If you’re anything like me, you have a slurry of holiday parties coming up and wondering what you will wear to each. This weekend, I’m looking forward to taking Stella to the Nutcracker for the very first time this year, and I need something a little extra! - Ballet Flats – these ballet flats are a classic pair that I’ve owned for almost a decade! In warmer months, a cute pair of wedge sandals are also a great option if you’re in the warmer months!
- A denim jacket or cardigan. You can even throw on a sweater over top for a different look altogether. I love a denim jacket with scrunchy sleeves for a classically trendy vibe.
- Structured handbag or crossbody purse
- Simple, delicate jewelry. I tend to favor gold jewelry, but any simple and classic will work!
How to Style Black Jumpsuits for Evening
- Heels. If you know me in real life, you know I’m always wearing heels. Its just who I am, ok?
- A bold lipstick – I love this beautiful shade of red lipstick
- A clutch – I’m swooning over this gorgeous clutch, even though its a total splurge. Here is a more affordable one.
- A Leather jacket or Faux Fur Jacket. If you want an edgy look, opt for leather. If you’re looking for a more elegant look, grab your faux fur coat!
- Statement Earrings or Necklace. If I’m wearing statement earrings, I tend to wear a more simple necklace, or nothing else at all.

Of all the black jumpsuits out there right now, I chose this one to wear to the Nutcracker this weekend with Stella and my mom and sister! I am obsessed with puff sleeves as well as off shoulder looks, so it was the perfect combination.
