What is it about moms always being the most perfect gift givers? I don’t know about you, but my mom seems to have a serious knack for knocking every single gift out of the park, time and time again. Years and years ago, I opened up my “big” Christmas gift from my parents to find a sleek square box featuring a white rectangle with a screen, some buttons, and an Apple logo. At the time, I had no clue what it was. My mom proceeded to explain this new thing called an “iPod” that would play mp3 files. It was the first generation model and I had literally never heard of it. I actually almost returned it, HA!
She has always been ahead of the trends, and always finds a way to track down that impossible gift that literally everyone is searching for and can find nowhere. Moms (and Dads!). They are just the best.
My mom (and Dad) gave me this sleek cape coat probably 3 years ago for my birthday, and it is still (by far) my very favorite coat that seems to get compliments every time I wear it. While not the warmest, it is by far, my chicest coat.
We all know that I do not LOVE the cold weather, but I sure do love an excuse to polish off an outfit with a cute coat, scarf and gloves.
